1. General Terms

  1. Any individual may register for a free user account on the myschool.lk website.
  2. By using this website, users agree to these Terms & Conditions and future updates.
  3. myschool.lk reserves the right to suspend or permanently deactivate accounts that violate policies or laws.
  4. Terms may be updated without prior notice. Continued usage implies acceptance.

2. Cookies & Sessions

  1. myschool.lk uses cookies and sessions to improve security and functionality.
  2. Cookies may store login data, preferences, and usage analytics.
  3. By using this website, users consent to cookie usage.
  4. Disabling cookies may affect certain features.

3. User Accounts

  1. Users are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of login credentials.
  2. All activities under an account are the responsibility of the account holder.
  3. Account sharing or selling is prohibited.
  4. myschool.lk is not liable for unauthorized access.

4. Articles

  1. Only educational articles are permitted.
  2. Articles must not contain obscene, racist, offensive, or promotional content.
  3. Sources must be cited if content is derived from other works.
  4. Responsibility for articles lies with the submitting user.
  5. Published articles cannot be deleted by users.
  6. Edits are allowed only for factual or technical corrections.

5. Videos

  1. Only educational videos may be uploaded.
  2. Videos must not contain offensive or inappropriate material.
  3. Maximum video length is 10 minutes and size is 200 MB.
  4. myschool.lk may review, edit, or remove videos if required.
  5. All responsibility, liability, legality, and accuracy of uploaded content remain with the content creator and not with myschool.lk.

6. Earnings & Credit System

  1. Users may earn by submitting eligible articles or videos.
  2. Eligible uploaded videos may earn between 10 and 20 credits from users, subject to the platform's current rules and scoring methods.
  3. Articles must exceed 450 Sinhala words.
  4. Content must relate to Grade 5, O/L, or A/L subjects and other selected subjects.
  5. Religious content and English subject content are not eligible for payment.
  6. Each valid like equals one credit.
  7. Credits spent by users on eligible creator content are shared between the creator and myschool.lk under the platform's revenue-sharing model. myschool.lk retains a platform share to cover hosting, maintenance, moderation, payment handling, and related operating costs. The applicable creator share and platform share may vary by feature, promotion, payout method, or policy, and may be updated by myschool.lk from time to time.
  8. Credit values and payment structures may change.
  9. myschool.lk may withhold earnings for violations.

7. O/L - A/L MCQ Challenge – Terms & Conditions

7.1 Participation

  1. Participation is voluntary.
  2. Participants must comply with all rules and decisions of myschool.lk.

7.2 Eligibility

  1. Participant must be a GCE O/L - A/L student.
  2. The following details must be accurately provided:
    • First Name
    • Second Name
    • Date of Birth
    • Gender
    • NIC Number (if applicable)
    • Address
    • O/L - A/L Examination Index Number
    • School Name
  3. False or incomplete information results in disqualification.

7.3 Administration Rights

  1. myschool.lk may modify rules, rewards, or scoring systems.
  2. Unfair practices or misconduct may lead to disqualification.

7.4 Rankings & Decisions

  1. All results and rankings are final.
  2. No appeals will be accepted.

7.5 Winners & Rewards

Student Cash Prizes
  • 1st – 5th Places: Each student will receive LKR 5,000
  • 6th – 10th Places: Each student will receive LKR 4,000
  • 11th – 15th Places: Each student will receive LKR 3,000
  • 16th – 20th Places: Each student will receive LKR 2,000
School Cash Prizes
  • School of the Student Placed 1st:
    The school of the student who secures 1st place will receive LKR 50,000.
  • School of the Student Placed 2nd:
    The school of the student who secures 2nd place will receive LKR 30,000, provided that the school has not already received the LKR 50,000 prize.
  • School of the Student Placed 3rd:
    The school of the student who secures 3rd place will receive LKR 20,000, provided that the school has not already received the LKR 50,000 or LKR 30,000 prize.
Note: Each school is eligible to receive only one school-level cash prize under this reward scheme.

7.6 Prize Distribution

  1. Prizes are awarded after verification.
  2. myschool.lk may withhold prizes for violations or discrepancies.
  3. Prizes are non-transferable.

7.7 Amendments & Termination

  1. myschool.lk may modify, suspend, or terminate the challenge at any time.

8. Token Packages & Add-ons

Token packages and add-ons are governed by the current plan settings published by myschool.lk. The following package and add-on details are based on the standard catalog, and myschool.lk may update package names, token amounts, prices, features, or add-on terms at any time.

8.1 Packages

8.2 Add-ons

  1. 400K Tokens — 400,000 tokens, LKR 300, valid for 30 days.

  2. 750K Tokens — 750,000 tokens, LKR 500, valid for 30 days.
    • 750,000 Tokens
    • Valid for 30 days
  3. 1.5 Million Tokens — 1,500,000 tokens, LKR 900, valid for 30 days.

    • Valid for 30 days

9. AI Tools & Image Generation

  1. myschool.lk may provide AI-powered features, including text and image generation tools.
  2. AI-generated results may be inaccurate, incomplete, unexpected, inappropriate, or different from what the user intended or expected.
  3. Users must review all AI-generated outputs before using, sharing, publishing, or relying on them.
  4. By using image generation or other AI tools, the user accepts and bears responsibility for any unexpected or unsuitable output generated by the system.

10. Intellectual Property

  1. Users grant myschool.lk rights to display and promote submitted content.
  2. Users retain ownership of original content.
  3. myschool.lk branding and systems are protected by law.
Important

11. Non-Refundable Payments

  1. All subscription payments, token package purchases, and add-on purchases are final and non-refundable.
  2. Unused tokens, expired packages, partially used add-ons, or inactive subscriptions are not eligible for refunds.
  3. Refunds may only be issued where required by applicable law or at the sole discretion of myschool.lk.

12. Limitation of Liability

  1. myschool.lk is not liable for data loss, earnings loss, or service interruptions.
  2. The platform is provided “as-is”.

13. Governing Law

These Terms & Conditions are governed by the laws of Sri Lanka.
