Active voice - Passive voice ( part 3)

Simple future tense

  • He will win the competition. (Active voice)
  • The competition will be won by him (Passive voice)

Passive voice - method:
   The competition         will be                  won                     by him
       ↓                        ↓                     ↓                       ↓
      object                  will + be       past participle verb          doer

e.g: The chief guest will distribute certificates (Acive voice)
       Certificates will be distributed by the chief guest (Passive voice)

       The government will launch the development projects to develop the country (Active voice)
       The development projects will be launched by the govrnment to develop the country (Passive voice)

       They will invite us to their wedding (Active voice)
       We will be invited by them to their wedding (Passive voice)

Future perfect tense

  • The doctor will have discharged the patient next week. (Active voice)
  • The patient will have been discharged by the doctor next week. (Passive voice)

Passive voice - method:
    The patient         will  have been           discharged            by the doctor
        ↓                       ↓                         ↓                     ↓
      object          will + have + been     past participle verb        doer

e.g: Teacher will have given an exercise to the pupils (Active voice)
       An exercise will have been given to the pupils by the teacher (Passive voice)

       The principal will have punished the pupis (Active voice)
       The pupils will have been punished by the principal (Passive voice)

       She will have sent an e-mail to all the members (Active voice)
       An e-mail will have been sent to all the members by her (Passive voice)
