Every (Countable Singular) – සෑම / ඔක්කොම

• Every student likes to play cricket.         
  • සෑම සිසුවෙක්ම ක්‍රිකට් ක්‍රීඩා කරන්න කැමති.
    
• Every mother knows the answer.         
  • සෑම මවක්ම පිළිතුර දනී. 
     

Each (Countable Singular) – එක් එක්

• Each person should bring a kilo of suger.         
  • එක් එක් පුද්ගලයන් සීනි කිලෝව බැගින් ගෙන ආ යුතුයි.
     

• Each girl has a pen.    
  • එක් එක් ගැහැණු ළමුන්ට පෑනක් ඇත.
     

All (Countable & Uncountable Nouns) - ඔක්කොම / සියළුම

• All the boys are absent today.         
  • සියළුම පිරිමිළමුන් අද පැමිණ නැත.
   
• All the bananas are ripe.         
  • ඔක්කොම කෙසෙල් ගෙඩි ඉදිලා.
     

Both (Countable Nouns) – දෙකම / දෙන්නම

Little (Countable & Uncountable Nouns) – ටිකක් / පොඩි

  • ඔහුට මුදල් ටිකක් තියෙනවා.

  • ඔහු පොඩි පිරිමි ළමයෙක්.
     

Few (Countable Nouns) – ටිකක්

• There are few pens on the table.         
  • පෑන් ටිකක් මේසය උඩ තිබෙනවා.
           
• She has few friends.         
  • ඇයට මිතුරන් ටිකක් ඉන්නවා.
     

Several (Countable Nouns) – කීපයක්

• Several tables are broken.         
  • මේස කිහිපයක් කැඩිලා.

  • පිරිමි ළමුන් කිහිපයක් අද පැමිණ නැත.
     

Other (Countable Singular) – අනෙක් එක හෝ අනෙක් කෙනා

• This boy is handsome but the other boy is not.         
  • මේ පිරිමි ළමයා කඩවසම් නමුත් අනෙක් එක්කෙනා එහෙම නැහැ.
             
• This pencil is broken but other one is good.         
  • මේ පැන්සලය කැඩිලා නමුත් අනෙක් පැන්සලය හොදයි.
     

Others (Countable Plural) –අනෙක් අය හෝ අනෙක් ඒවා

• These books are useful but others are useless.         
  • මේ පොත් ප්‍රයෝජනයි නමුත් අනෙක් ඒවා වැඩකට නැහැ.
     

Another (Countable Singular) – වෙනත් / තව එකක් හෝ වෙනත් / තව අයෙක්

Much (Uncountable Nouns) – හුඟක්

• They have much money.         
  • ඔවුන්ට හුගාක් මුදල් තිබෙනවා

  • ජෝගුවේ වතුර හුගාක් තිබෙනවා.
     

More (Countable & Uncountable Nouns) වැඩිපුරසංඛ්‍යාවක්හෝප්‍රමාණයක්

Either (Countable Singular) – යම්දෙයකින් ඕනෑම එකක්

• Either pen is suitable.         
  • ඕනෑම පෑනක් සුදුසුයි.
                  
• They like either of them.         
  • ඔවුන්ගෙන් ඕනෑම කෙනෙකුට ඔවුන් කැමති.
     

Neither (Countable Plural) - දෙකෙන් එකක්වත් නෙමේ / නැත යන අර්ථය

• They like neither of them.         
  • ඔවුන් ඒ දෙදෙනාගෙන් එක්කෙනෙකුටවත් කැමති නැහැ.
